The La-di-da Burger

 

What you need
A whole grain bun, toasted.
2 to 3 ounces of lean ground turkey
1 tablespoon-full of herb goat cheese
1 tomato slice cut into 1/4 inch
1 leaf from the heart of a romaine lettuce a pinch of salt and fresh pepper to taste

What to do
Preheat grill to medium-high.
Wash the tomato and cut a 1/4 inch slice. Wash the lettuce leaf.
Combine the ground turkey with the salt, pepper and goat cheese.
Mix with your hands and form a burger about 1\2 inch thick and round shaped.
Grill the burger until cooked through about 4 to 5 minutes per side.
On one-half of the toasted bun place the lettuce leaf and the tomato slice, then the grilled burger.
Cover with the other bun’s half. Enjoy this la-di-da-delicious treat!
Burgers make a deliciously healthy meal when made with lean meats, fish, vegetables or other healthy proteins.
They are delicious when combined with fresh fruits and vegetables and tasty lean cheeses.
