We sure hope so because we found a great new word for you! It is ‘altruism’! It is a beautiful word! What does it mean?

An altruist is somebody who is kind and concerns him/herself about the wellbeing and happiness of others.

A child who shares toys with others, and makes sure everybody is included in games and treated well, is an altruist.

Somebody who, instead, just thinks about him/herself, not caring if someone is left behind and sad about it, is selfish, not an altruist.

To be an altruist makes the people around you happy, which, in turn, makes you happy too! How can you be altruist with your friends?
